When I found the A133 power plug, I thought it was a great find. I have the iGo USB cable that I use with another iGo power plug to charge a Motorola cell phone that I had. The USB cable and plug do charge my iPhone, but I cannot sync my iPhone with iTunes. When I originally bought the cable and power plug, I asked if there was one for the Apple iPhone 3G, but there was not. This was about 9 months ago. The phone doesn't show up. I sync my phone on a daily basis, so this is a pretty big disappointment, but for charging purposes, this does work.
My theory is that those folks who have problems with a product are justifiably upset and will tend to write a review. Despite the reviews panning this tip and Igo itself, I decided to order it because I've never had any problem with any of Igo's tips. It worked the first time and I am completely satisfied. Those who are happy with a product tend to forget the review process and happily get on with their lives. Don't be afraid to buy this good product.(I have a 2nd gen Touch with latest software downloaded to it)
Does anyone know if this works with the iPod Touch 2nd Generation running OS 3. The "Please let us know how we can assist you today, don't hesitate to contact us by filling out our online Contact Form" page on the igo site leads to a "page not available to view" message, otherwise I would ask them directly.
the charging end is not tapered to fit the charging slot through the extra protection provided by the case. Hopefully igo will come up with a different version.
not reliable, I have to jiggle it, sometimes it works other times it says its not supported. I have the iGo battery portable charger which does not work at all for the iphone. I also bought a non iphone car charger with the iphone tip(not iGo) did not work said not supported.
